Clubhouse Programs

Clubhouse programs feature friendly, energetic and fun staff trained to work with specific age groups, utilizing the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth Development Strategy.

The Youth Development Strategy incorporates in all programs and activities four basic "senses" or feelings which, when possessed by young people, help them build self-esteem and develop into responsible citizens and leaders. These four senses are:

  • a sense of belonging - a setting where an individual knows he or she has a place and where he or she "fits" and is accepted.
  • a sense of usefulness - the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
  • a sense of competence - the feeling there is something boys and girls can do, and do well.
  • a sense of influence - the chance to be heard and to influence decisions.

Clubhouse Programs Feature:

  • Computer Classes
  • Foosball, billiards, table tennis, & Board games
  • Outdoor water activities
  • Weekly movies
  • Character and skill building games
  • Arts & Crafts
  • New and exciting daily activities
  • Bus service from local public schools to Club on school days. View Bus Schedule.

Scholarships

We believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in Boys & Girls programs. A limited number of partial scholarships are available to families who qualify for financial assistance.

Clubhouse Guidelines

Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis members are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner and respect the rights of others at all times.

Youth need to sign-in upon entering the building, and sign-out when leaving.  The Club has an open campus policy. Youth are supervised while in the building or outside, during a scheduled organized activity. We suggest that you go over your expectations of using the Club with your child before they attend.  The Club assumes no responsibility, once youth leave the Boys & Girls Club premises.

Members are supervised while in the building only, or outside during an organized activity.

A more specific behavior policy is available at the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis office.
